Bella Curb Landscape Curbing Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do you use brick segments to "build" the curbing?

No. The curbing is a customized continuous concrete poured structure.

  2. What happens when the ground settles or moves under the curbing?

This is one of the primary benefits of concrete curbing. Unlike bricks, blocks, and other types of landscape borders, curbing does not move or shift.

  3. Will  you damage my yard during the curbing installation?

No. There is no heavy equipment brought onto your property or lawn. The machine used to make the curb is about the size of a lawn mower.

  4. How is the color applied to the curbing?

The color is mixed with the cement (not painted or stained).

  5. How far into the ground does the curbing extend? How deep do you dig?

    About 2 inches.

  6. Will the curbing crack?

It is natural for concrete to crack. "Control joints" are created in the continuous curbing every 3' to 4' to control the cracks and make them inconspicuous.

  7. How long will the installation take?

Layout and installation typically take 1 full day.

  8. Must I be present when the curbing is installed?

You do not have to be present during the curbing installation.
